Accessible Work-Integrated (WIL) Bursary - September

Eligibility: A Red Deer Polytechnic student in a practicum placement between September and December in the Bachelor of Science Nursing, Practical Nurse Diploma, Health Care Aide Diploma, Bachelor of Education and Early Learning and Childcare Certificate/ Diploma, or Educational Assistant Programs at Red Deer Polytechnic.

Criteria: Student must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Refugee and must identify as belonging to one or more of the following under-represented communities: BIPOC, LGBTQ2S+, Mature Student (30+), Newcomer to Canada (within the last 5 years), Student from Refugee Pathways, Student with disability, Female-identify or non-binary person studying STEM, Live in a remote rural location, Low socioeconomic status. Additionally, students who are in a practicum located 60 kms or more, round trip, from their residence may apply for a travel subsidy.
