Dr. Paul Nonnekes Memorial Scholarship for Excellence in Social or Literary Theory

Eligibility: A Red Deer Polytechnic student who attended a Bachelor of Arts program in the most recent academic year. The student must be continuing studies in the subsequent year of the program in the upcoming academic year. Preference will be given to students whose essay reflects the interdisciplinary spirit of the published works of Dr. Paul Nonnekes and whose essay engages with issues relating to any of the following: psychoanalytic theory, critical theory, identity theory, trauma theory, gender studies, and cultural studies – especially multiculturalism.

Criteria: Essay submitted as part of the student’s normal course work
