Accessible Work-Integrated (WIL) Bursary - Additional

Eligibility: A Red Deer Polytechnic student in a practicum placement between September and December in the Bachelor of Science Nursing, Practical Nurse Diploma, Health Care Aide Diploma, Social Work Diploma, Bachelor of Education and Early Learning and Childcare Certificate/ Diploma, or Educational Assistant Programs at Red Deer Polytechnic.

Criteria: Student must be a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or Refugee and must identify as belonging to one or more of the following under-represented communities: BIPOC, LGBTQ2S+, Mature Student (30+), Newcomer to Canada (within the last 5 years), Student from Refugee Pathways, Student with disability, Female-identify or non-binary person studying STEM, Live in a remote rural location, Low socioeconomic status. Additionally, students who are in a practicum located 60 kms or more, round trip, from their residence may apply for a travel subsidy.
